Everyone is having a furbulous time in the Farmer's Market as I type this! The celebrities and the CyBearGuides are in Bear Boulevard, trying to set a record for the most number of nearby players and right now, as per the CybearGuides, nearby player count is 602!

UPDATE: As of 5:30 BVT, player count is 720 and counting!

New items are revealed today by one of the friendly CyBearguides! We spotted CharlieCybearguide in Town Square, thanks to our very own karenbearhug's tip on Twitter:

"CharlieCyBearGuide is riding a cool tractor in Bearville! The ride will be available on May 4th."

Here's Charlie, on the new tractor, wearing a pig costume, possibly from his new farm animal!



He was also seen wearing a Farmer's T-shirt and overalls, along with his furry friend. He said these items will be added to the BVO store catalog on Friday! Can't wait! Too bad I couldn't check his inventory. This shows up when you click on his character.



Here are some of the new farm animals and smallfrys available in buildabear.com/ buildabear.co.uk and will be coming to stores Friday! You will also get a free Farmer's Market Tote with a minimum purchase of $20/£15, that comes with a webcode. We also saw Charlie today walking around with a tote bag!

The BABW App for Apple Devices is updated to version 1.6, with the popular Bearville mini-game, Bear Hugs! Control is smooth and easy. Just tap on the bears, especially the ones wearing crowns to earn bonus points! Avoid the bears wearing masks!


This game lets you earn tons of Bearbills! I sat for only 10 minutes and already I earned 2,000 BB! How awesome is that!

The Lumbear Yard and City Garden Mini Market are selling Hydrangea, Hyacinth and Begonia Seeds They blossom into beautiful flowers. Upon harvest, each will give you flowers that are perfect ornaments for your Cub Condo.

Fun Facts
Hydrangeas originated from Japan.
Hydrangea flowers are very beautiful and often fragrant.
The name says it all - Hydrangeas need lots of water!

Hyacinths are spring-flowering bulbs with long, narrow leaves that are folded lengthwise.
Hyacinths are highly fragrant flowers that bloom in dense clusters.
The World Hyacinth Day takes place in the 7th of March.

Begonias are beautiful flowers that love warm and sunny environments, and grow year round indoors or out.
Begonia gets its name from 17-century French governor, Micheal Begon, who governed a French colony in the Caribbean.

We've seen LizCyBearGuide and CharlieCyBearGuide parade all weekend with these new furry friends and today, Blooming Teddy, Rainbow Hugs Bear and Twinkle Butterfly are in the City Garden to sprinkle some magic into your gardens! With the aid of these wonderful Butterfly Friend Helpers, you don't have to wait for days to harvest! You can earn bearbills and bags of seeds while tending your plants. Today, I got the most rare seed of all- the Magical Seed! I got it from harvesting Begonias and now I have a Tree House!

Here's how the Butterfly Friend Helper System works. Based on your number of friends, number of furry friends and whether or not you are a Jr CyBearGuide, you earn Fairy Friend Favors. Use your friend favors to tend and harvest as many plants as you can!

Butterfly Friend Helper System is based on the following:
5 Base points
1 point per friend/buddy
10 points for each furry friend you have
5 points for being a Jr CyBearGuide

When you use up all your points, you will get them again the next day, plus extra points should you add a buddy or add another furry friend. You may also use Fairy Friend Favors when you visit your buddy's garden and tend their plants. And you will randomly receive bearbills and seeds!

One letdown: Inability to decorate gardens. Unfortunately, you cannot add stuff anymore. I wanted to put up a Gazebo but it didn't let me.

Bearville is rewarding active JrCyBearGuides their very own virtual bear! Virtual bears are special bears that unlock the ability for your furry friend to walk around Bearville with you instead of riding in your backpack. And according to ChloeRocks herself (we met her today in Town Square), you have to be an active Jr CyBearGuide for atleast 3 months through this latest game update to get the free bear.

Sometime in September 2010, Bearville introduced the virtual bears for the first time and gave all active Jr CyBearGuides the first batch of bears. This is just one of the cool perks you get for being good citizens in Bearville!

Bearville has been throwing lots of new stuff this month starting with new fountain items and a collection of rain boots from celebs. Today, they released another wave of even more awesome stuff- garage, clapping move, backpack and an updated tutorial.

Garage

If you have a virtual ride, then go check out your free garage! YOu can find it under your special rooms. Rides are placed on a conveyor belt. You can ride on each one. You may add furnitures but you cannot customise the wall and the floor. You also cannot add wall decors and flags.

Updated tuorials
Now with the updated game tutorial, newbies learn how to register a furry friend and how to play a mini-game! As usual, you can earn 100 Bearbills from it! Last time, players are shown how to walk around Bearville.

It'd be so cool for each furry friend to have a profile like this where we could learn about their past.

Bears Musical Chairs is Bearville's version of the famous party game, Musical Chairs. Rules are pretty simple. Just click as fast as you can on an empty chair when the music stops. If you click before the music stops, you'll lose points. The game is fun, except that the movement seems very slow. And you can't choose the music. Song tracks play randomly. Checking the highscores, top 10 has garnered over 5,000 points on the first day of launch! Impressive!
