I. Paw Prints System

Now, we will no longer use just the number of posts to bid for the Auction House! Starting today, we will be having a cumulative point system where the following will be calculated:

- Your number of posts
- Your number of topics created
- Your reputation points
- Your registration date
- Your number of Visitor Messages

HOWEVER, not all posts or topics you create will give you the same points. I have assigned different points to different categories. It's up to you to figure out which categories and Forums will give you the most points!

Each month, I will give 5 points for each subject created in the Featured Forum. This April, the Featured Forum is Let's Make A Difference! Remember that you need to organize a walk for this one! For posting or replying to threads, you get 3 points for each post in the Referral Program. Just make sure the referred person is valid.

To be fair, you will not earn points from special sections like BearXchange, Auction House and Special Job Sections.

We will give a warning to spammers.

NOTE: You will no longer see your number of posts in your profile. Rankings will still depend on number of posts.


II. Bear Hugs System

The Bear Hugs System lets you evaluate a certain post. This is the ability to give scores or points to other members. Please remain fair. We will give warnings and/account lock to those who will abuse this system.

To earn Bear Hugs and to be able to evaluate a post, you need to have atleast 50 Visitor Messages. Qualified members can only vote 3 times each day.

How it works:
1. Everyone starts with zero (including myself!). Your Bear Hugs Score is shown in your profile.



2. If you are eligible, which means that you have atleast 50 Visitor Messages, look for the positive (+) and negative (-) signs on the right side of each post. If you think the post has helped you and the other members, click the (+) sign.





If you you click on the negative sign, the bar goes red.



Do not take it too personally if your post was not voted. It means there are things you may need to improve on.

We will ban or possibly lock your accounts if you abuse this system in any way.

3. A shower of Thank You's

This is a special feature that is also connected to Bear Hugs. It allows the member who created a topic to thank any member who replied to the thread that has actually been the most helpful, entertaining, etc. The member, if eligible will earn 3 points for each 'Thank You' he gets!
