Contest 41: Search for New Graphic Artists

This is your chance to showcase your talents as a potential graphic artist by submitting your own creative and unique graphics. From your entries, we will choose three new graphic artists to assist the officers and make graphics with the event planners!


Rules:
1. This contest runs till January 31st, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST.
2. One entry per person (See below for more information about entries.)
3. You must be a member of Bearville Guide Forums for one month and have at least 300 posts. Spamming is not tolerated and will disqualify you from the contest. This is because to have a position on the board, you need to be familiar with the board and take an active part.
4. No commenting on entries. If you have a question, please private message, visitor message, or email it to me. We want to keep the contest with entries only so it is easier for us to go through and choose.
5. Current graphic artists may enter but they obviously will not win. Old graphic artists may enter.
6. Graphics must follow size requirements stated in BGF rules. Avatars are 300 tall and 200 wide. Signatures are 500 wide and 250 tall.
7. If you submitted a graphic artist application, we will not be looking at them at this time. You must submit an entry here.


Guidelines to Enter:

In order to enter this contest, you need to submit three graphics to show your variety and ways you can handle different types of graphics. Please follow the following and put your own flare on each graphic. You must do one of each graphic, you cannot pick and choose.

1. Avatar
The avatar should feature your BABV character and any add ons you wish. You must know how to take a screenshot to be a graphic artist so you need to be able to take your own picture for your avatar.

2. Signature
The signature needs to be Valentine’s Day themed. It must be appropriate with no romance or love. You can include Build-A-Bearville in it too.

3. Button
The button you make needs to promote Bearville Guide Forums in any way. Make sure Bearville Guide Forums and/or www.bearvilleguide.com is written on the button. Keep buttons to a reasonable size (about 150 width to 80 height).

All entries of signatures and buttons will be put in a thread at the end of the contest stickied at the top of the Graffiti Wall with the graphics you have made and credited with your name for all BGF members to use. Note: Signatures must be within size limit rules to go in the thread. We will not resize them.

Anything posted in the contest that is not an entry will be removed from this thread. Remember to direct all questions and extra comments to a PM, VM, or email to HamptonBear.
