While we keep everything in this trade area safe for everyone, we cannot ensure full security. Before anything else, we would like to remind everyone that IF you were scammed Bearville Guide Forums is not responsible for your loss. We strongly advise you to send a report to vwpatrol@buildabear.com
BearXchange is exclusive for trading of virtual items from Build-A-Bearville. Trading of credits and codes, real bears, real cash and other tangible stuff is strictly prohibited! Trading off with other blogs and forum sites is not allowed.
Do not use BearMail™ to exchange items, to avoid issues of not getting the items, etc. Bearville Guide Forums will not be held liable for that.
This is strictly a Trade-only section. Unrelated posts will be erased.
Rules and Guidelines:
1. Each qualified member is given his own space in the BearXchange that he can control and modify. To qualify you must be an active member for at least 2 weeks.
2. The title of your trade MUST be your BABV Username ONLY. Your profile will also need to list your full BABV username.
3. Your thread should show the following:
Opening date:
BABV Username: Preferred time: Items I offer (These are items from my inventory that I want to trade): From Pawlette Coufur From Bearville Outfitters PSI Other special items *Special Note: Offers Bearville Outfitter items of your choice
Items I want (These are items that I am looking for): From Pawlette Coufur From Bear Stuff From Bear Boutique PSI Other special items *Special Note: Will take Bearville Outfitter items of my choice
4. Private messaging a member for any reason involving the trade section is not allowed. All trades must be agreed upon on the board.
5. Meeting up in the game to look at each others inventories is NOT allowed. All trades must be agreed upon fully on the board, out in the open.
6. There is no limit to the items you offer. You have the option to keep adding more items. Just make sure that these items exist in your My Stuff.
7. When members reply to your trade post, make sure to reply back to every posts by either accepting or rejecting their offer. For rejected offers, please specify reason. For accepted offers, make sure to set the date, time and place. The Multi-quote feature will help make things more convenient for you in managing your trade thread.
8. Once you have agreed to a trade, consider that item gone from your inventory. You may not trade it to anyone else on the board or in the game. Failure to follow through with a trade is unacceptable.
9. After each trade is completed, the Space owner removes the item from his list. The member he traded off with will post a feedback using this format: Items that were traded Good/Fair/Bad and a brief explanation
10. If you encounter any problems with other players brought about by this trade section, let an officer know right away!
11. The officers reserve the right to delete/modify and or close your BearXchange thread and disable your access, based on our Rules and Guidelines.
12. Always make a proper offer in someone's trade post. A real offer looks like this: "I will trade my HM stage for your furry boots" There is to be NO "What can I get?" or "Look at my trade thread"
13. You cannot make the same offer that someone else has already made. If I offer my mask for your balloons, someone else cannot come and post the same offer.
14. Your thread can remain open for 1 week. After that time it will be locked and you may begin again. You must still follow through with any agreed upon trades.
15. You may not keep double posting in your own thread or posting "Any more offers?" If someone wants to offer, they will.
16. You may not ask for more than one PSI in exchange for just one PSI. No PSI is any more rare than another.
If you fail to follow the rules of the Bear Exchange you will be given a reminder. If you continue to break the rules you will be removed from trading for 1 week. Any offense after that will mean you will not be allowed to trade here anymore.
Please note that failure to set up your trade correctly will count as your first reminder.
Also keep in mind that this is Fair Trading NOT Auctioning. If you are given a fair offer you like then you need to take it and not tell the person that you're waiting for something better to come along.
LINKS IN SIGNATURES: You MAY link your trade thread in your signature. But you CANNOT list any items you have for trade in your signature.
