Open Chat Announcement

There has been a lot of talk about open chat on the boards. We are asking you not to jump to any conclusions about chat yet. We do not know what our options for chat will be and no statement has been made that says the new chat is permanent. Build-a-bearville is doing a wonderful job to keep children safe. Until we are told that open safe chat is gone forever we will assume that when they feel they had revamped it enough to make it safer than before we will see it again.

Having your own opinions is very important. While we encourage our members to stand up for what they believe, we are asking that you please do not post negative comments about open chat. We are a forum that enjoys BABV and all of its aspects; please remember to keep a positive attitude when posting on the board.

There are also many other ways to communicate in BABV.
Have you considered having an emoticon party?
Emoticons can really show how a person is feeling or what they may be thinking.

There are many new safe chat options, lots of new things to say.
It may take you a second to find the right option but if you try I am sure you could do it!

yeah it is true there is a chat called silent chat isn't there

The BGF Staff is going to launch a special feature in the board today that will help our members communicate from here to BABV. BUT PLEASE do not abuse the system; we need your full cooperation. Be nice, respectful and kid-friendly.

I'm very excited about this! Stay tuned.

I am wishing it will come back! Also, I am wishing that the BGF Chatbox comes back too! Yesterday at the trial, Mama, Mandy, Rachel, Admin, and more ppl were having a blast talking!

I think that we all miss open chat, but I am sure that if Open Chat comes back, it will be better than ever!

The BABV Staff might just be making Open Chat even more fun, better, and easier to use!
