WARNING: Scam Alert!
It has come to our attention that a third party has been sending out an email that looks like an official email from Build-A-Bearville asking for your Citizen Name and Current Password. Here's an email received by one of our Guests:

Please IGNORE this email. THIS IS A SCAM.We will never ask for your username and password. If you received this email and replied, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS NOW!

Yes, whoever's behind it is trying to steal your account and items. Do not reply to this email!

Re: WARNING: Scam Alert!
Wow, I actually think it's sad that people have to do this just to get items for themselves. I won't answer this e-mail, for sure.

Actually, I know the person who sent this email.
This girl just really doesn't like me at all.
I'm sure she wouldn't do that to you guys though.

Re: WARNING: Scam Alert!
Vanessa it was very nice of you to warn us about this new scam that is going around. It is very disappointing that people would do such a thing. It is great to know that the people in the Bearville Guide Forum are trustworthy seeing as the person who began this scam was not. It surprises me to see that they left out a few capitalization. Originally, I know Build-a-Bearville would capitalize "thank you beary much." I did not receive this e-mail and I am glad I did not. Thank you so much for notifying us and hopefully those who aren't part of forums like this one are aware of the scam. =]

Re: WARNING: Scam Alert!
I think whoever sent this thought that they would out smart the person they sent it too.But it is so important that every little detail counts.Just think why would BABV discoccted your account.Wow that just shows how selfish and mean and cold hearted people can be.Also if they want your password for a website just think what they would do in the real world. As alot of people say "it all starts on the computer".I hope whoever did this realized that by clicking "send" you could get yourself in some serious trouble.Even if it isn't the real world it still affects people and it is still stealing. To whoever got this E-mail I am glad that you did not reply and that you took the time to contact the CBGs to see if this E-mail was infact real or a scam. This has made me realize that I should change my password ASAP.Because my isn't the hardest to figure out.Thank you for posting this.I also belive CholeRocks has sent out a message in BABV.So check your BearMail.
