Account Locked?

I tried to log in to BABV and got a message that my account is locked?! What is going on, why would it be locked?

The only reason accounts get locked is when the player enters an incorrect password several times. Did you forgot your password?

You will have to email us at vwhelp@buildabear.com so we can unlock your account and provide you with the correct login info.

No, I would never forget my password I've never had to re-enter it even. It's working now and I was able to log in. Does that mean someone was trying to get in my account?

Yes, it's possible that someone was trying to get in your account.

Are there any other Build-A-Bearville players in your home? They might have accidentally picked your username while trying to log-on to the game.

Also, when your account gets locked, it will take a few minutes before it becomse active again. That means your account is safe as long as no one else knows your password
