Can't Buy Shorts?

I've been wanting a new pair of shorts, and it won't let me buy them.
But when I go to buy anything else, it lets me!

that happens to me too but it will only let me buy accesories it is weird and i don't know why it does it

Can you tell me what is the item that you were able to buy?
If you try to buy an accessory or furniture and it allows you, more likely it is only your clothing inventory that is full which needs some free space for new items.
