You probably have a full inventory. Try storing some stuff in your attic or selling it. It happens to me sometimes too. And please don't double post.

Currently, you are only allowed up to 10 pages for each category in your inventory. So, to be able to buy more stuff, you need to keep your inventory to less than 10 pages.
